Manifest Destiny, but make it north-and-south instead!

I love the idea of this. But I’m an adjunct, and they don’t pay me enough to spend that kind of time addressing an issue the college or university has the power to address (much more effectively) from the top-down.

I’m a writer who never has or will use AI. I am currently available for work.

Time and again we see that when professors teach and test to a higher standard, students rise to the challenge. We demean them by teaching down to them. Students want to learn, but so many of them don’t actually know how to and have never had someone appeal to their ability.

Talentless hack who can’t write trying to give people advice.

So that’s not true at all. What an idiotic word salad by a person desperate to sound smart in the face of overwhelming stupidity.

This sounds really smart if you’re 1) stupid and 2) have no experience whatsoever with the topic at hand. Seriously, what a moron.

Most of my life has been in pursuit and support of the written word, so the fact that so many people are employed in a profession they hate, one that’s loved by so many who aren’t in it, is maddening and disheartening in equal measure.

A generation later, people who had fled the Midwest in a fake panic are now returning because they realized that it’s actually largely a really great place to live.
