Developing Emotional Capabilities for Early Career Transition. At Christina Noble Children's Foundation, supporting a young person means investing in their mind, their confidence, and their inner life. A young person flourishes when all three grow together.

Our young people from rural southern Vietnam have worked extraordinarily hard to get where they are today - with all the odds stacked against them. When they succeed, their families and communities share in that success. This is what a holistic, all rounded education looks like.

When one of our trainers asked students to list the challenges they expected to face, one response that stood out was “coming from a poor background”. Our message to these young people is very clear: “Do not allow the poverty you were born into to define you and your future”.

Today she is a Lieutenant in the Armed Forces of Mongolia. “CNCF became my family and loved me, and guided me through life.”

In 2009, the Christina Noble Children's Foundation came across her. She was six.Fifteen years of love and support followed. In 2020, Nomin won a place to study Law Enforcement and Security at university. CNCF's Education Scholarship Programme covered three years of tuition.

Nomin once needed protection. Today, she protects others. Before Nomin was born, her parents had separated and she never knew her father. At four, she lost her mother in a car accident. Her grandparents raised her.

On Vietnam’s National Day for Persons with Disabilities, we share the story of our Tay Ninh Centre. In Tay Ninh Province, the effects of Agent Orange are still felt decades on. CNCF supported the establishment of the centre in 1999.

CNCF is widely recognised in Mongolia for its leadership in child psychology practice and specialist training. By investing in the professionals who protect children, we help build a more child-centred, trauma-informed justice system. This is systems strengthening in practice.

The training focused on recognising psychological risks of working with child survivors, strengthening mental wellbeing, and building practical coping strategies for long-term professional engagement.

Clean water is not a privilege. It is a foundation for childhood. In Vietnam, unsafe water contributes to ~9,000 preventable deaths and 250,000 hospitalisations each year, many affecting children. CNCF is delivering clean water to 4,500+ children.
