A couple of years back there used to be a genius radio ad that ran across the major stations in Uganda about hand hygiene. There’s this particular one that ran on radio CBS_88.8FM where the voice over would say bwetwali ku'mbaga, balirwaana'baffe bamala kulya, ne'balyooka banaaba mungalo' meaning ‘when we are a the the wedding, our neighbors ate first, then washed hands after’ - so we pose a question to you, Have you washed your hands today? Today being #worldhandhygieneday, this is your reminder to was your your hands. Hand hygiene remains one of the simplest, most effective ways to prevent infections and save lives — especially in our workspaces, hospitals, clinics, homes, and communities across Uganda.
