I am pleased to share that our study conducted at @BarrowNeuro has been published in the Neurosurgery journal following my oral presentation at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons @CNS_Update (CNS) 2025 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles. In this work, we investigated the supracerebellar supra- and infratrochlear triangles as key microsurgical corridors to the posterolateral midbrain and ambient cistern. Through detailed cadaveric dissections, we demonstrated how these anatomical windows can be utilized to safely reach the dorsolateral midbrain and the lateral mesencephalic sulcus safe entry zone. To complement the anatomical analysis, we integrated tractography and three-dimensional modeling, providing a more comprehensive understanding of the microsurgical pathways and their surrounding white-matter relationships.
