I was in the steam sauna tonight after my workout. A person came in, with her phone and was using it the whole time. HOW?!?! WHY?!?!

@rachelepojednic I would also be a great MD. Reason I didn't pursue is because I can't do overnights & days with poor sleep (not that it's good for anyone & it can result in errors). I know myself. I now know I have a genetic issue & decent sleep is key. Otherwise, I'd rock being an MD.

I would have been a damn good MD. And I often wonder how many of us are out there - people that just didn't have the $$ or support to pass the stupid test with a high enough score to show our worth (because the rest of my CV was bang on).

@GeeksPolice Every day I'm getting at least 2-3 emails from students that they will be out sick and they provide their symptoms. Some have covid, some just random viruses.

The number of students I have out with COVID is scary. We're only a little into the cold weather and it's already bad.

Got up at 4:45a to get work done. First class at 8am. After I: emailed, had office hours, emailed, wrote 2 recommendation letters, emailed, graded 10 lit review drafts, had 3 meetings, & emailed. I got to my 3pm lab and every student was talking about their afternoon nap 😵‍💫
