Our latest paper from the @syd_health and @UofGlasgow research collaboration describes the relationship between cardiometabolic risk factors and kidney disease in males and females in @AJKDonline. Worth a read!

Accepting more donors with PBM increases kidney transplant opportunities for many with minimal risk of transmission. Huge implications for our healthcare management and shared decision making with people with kidney disease.
TransplantDirect@TXPDirect

Hedley et al. show that any increase in utilization of kidneys from deceased donors with PBM both improves health outcomes for patients waiting for a #kidney transplant and reduces healthcare costs. #OpenAccess #VisualAbstract #TransplantTwitter bit.ly/3Or7uvH

this paper helps families understand likely life course of kids with kidney failure: the younger you get ESKD the more life you lose; older kids survive longer but spend more years on dialysis @SydneySPH @CODE_USyd @WARC_USYD @MelWyld @Nickii_dlm
