On this day in 1942, the Fall of Singapore marked a turning point in the Pacific War. Thousands of British and Commonwealth troops were taken as prisoners of war. We will always remember their sacrifices and bravery.

The trustees of COFEPOW are deeply saddened by the passing of Mrs Carol Cooper, founder & former Chair of the charity, who died on 10ᵗʰ Nov 2025. Her tireless work creating the FEPOW Memorial will be remembered. Funeral: 10 Dec, 2pm, Gorleston Crematorium.
