COOPI is an NGO based in Milan committed to building resilience and fighting against poverty in the Global South.
🚨 Nearly 1.9M people (~90% of #Gaza) have been displaced, and 94% of hospitals are damaged or destroyed. 🤝 Through the AIUTIAMO GAZA project, EFE with @COOPI is training young first responders. 25 are already active, bringing care and hope across camps and hospitals.
Today, Lebanon observes a day of national mourning. AICS Beirut shares in the grief of the affected families and the entire nation following the tragedy that has impacted thousands of civilians.
In the framework of the government-led response to the ongoing crisis, the SDCs stand at the forefront of addressing the needs of IDPs. In partnership with the NGOs @coopi @icu_ong and @AVSI_MENA, ELISSA is contributing to the emergency response, in coordination with 13 SDCs.
On March 10, distributions carried out by @coopi reached over 900 individuals across 18 collective shelters in the governorates of North and Akkar, in coordination with MoSA and the SDCs of Qobbeh, Halba, Rahbe and Batroun.
