We can’t have an honest conversation or rebuke bad leadership behavior without emotions. Being afraid to speak out because how something may be perceived prevents action, and shows complicity. There’s time for tact, but that shouldn’t get in the way of honesty when something’s clearly wrong.

Think I’ve reached a point where I can continue conducting technical consultant interviews and failing them, or I can flood the field with subpar consultants, watch the world burn with a whiskey in hand, and hasten the inevitable collapse.
