The Lahore High Court today allowed writ petition (No 37823/25) - Shakil Shaikh vs Pakistan Cricket Board. The short order was announced in court by Honorable Justice Malik Javed Iqbal Wains after hearing detailed arguments. Advocate Mr Taffazul Rizvi appeared and argued the writ petition. By this judgement, order of PCB Adjudicator dated 27-5-2025 and PCB notification of 28-5-2025 (through which Islamabad Region Cricket Association as well as Islamabad's Zonal Cricket Associations were restrained from working in their respective offices) stand set aside thereby restoring the elected regional and zonal cricket associations in Islamabad.
