@boogerhunter @Renvoiaux22 I am not 100% this is true in all cases and I do not believe it was the case on Sunday.
All broadcasters are guilty of it in some form.
To maintain consistency WR need to do something to ensure we focus on the rugby!

@CPKMurray @Renvoiaux22 TMO has all the video and angles. They are free to check them. TMO does not look at the stadium screen. And British rugby World does exactly the same with TV replays.

Lack of replies in Bordeaux v Bath highlighting this again

Six nations need their own tv producer at every game. French director going full cover up in knock ons / offsides during the France home games
English

@pierresc Was at the game so can’t comment on replays. However if Porters incident was not played enough and Ollivons was over played that is wrong too.
Worth noting Porter did get a yellow and Ollivon didnt
English

@CPKMurray You do know that it’s the Tom’s job to review actions although ( and especially if) you don’t see them on screen?
What did you make of the Irish director showing Ollivon over and over while barely showing Porter?
English

@pierresc Yes I do know that. However unclear whether the TMO gets access to all the replays all of the time regardless of country. World Rugby should look for consistency. 1/2
English

@Renvoiaux22 You are right on citing this - it was wrong. However it is one instance. There were several calls missed today due to lack of replays - like most days when there’s a game in France.

Put this guy in charge.
Focuses on the realities of operations and crucially - the numbers.
More like him needed to get us to the standard whereby (a) people get the cart they need when they need it (b)taxpayers see actual ROI

I asked a series of questions about how funding of section 38 hospitals works in practice. What came through clearly is this: (1/8)

Late 90s / early 2000s was the world at its best: just enough technology to do new amazing things but not too much that we could all live in the moment.

@jim_demps Agree on this instance. More focused on the game in general and that per the rules atm it would seem there isn’t a fair competition for their ball if all of the onus is on the chasing player
English

@CPKMurray Not sure what Deegan was doing but you could see he had one quick look to see where Kok was and then he never contested. Just over ran the ball and straight through the player. Think the onus is on him not to be reckless
English

@MartinH1892 @Bobb_95 @jim_demps I think outing more of an onus on both players would increase competition in these contests
English

@jim_demps Yes agreed on maintaining the competition. Seeing more of chasing players not competing for the ball whatsoever in fear of being penalized in the event receiving players jump into them.
Tbh would love if we outlawed the box kick altogether!
English

@CPKMurray Got to maintain the competition. Think the issue here is that Deegan wasn’t contesting the ball. Just ran through the player

You won't hear a better 55-second description of MAGA and Trump than this: in terms of the perspective of any minimally honest MAGA supporter:

@Jack_Raines Good chance regardless of OpenAI success or not the envisioned strategy doesn’t work and they buy it back for $1 anyway
