The reason it's tracking so much higher than WTI (~$96) is it's geography. Oman's oil exports run through Mina Al Fahal, which sits outside the Strait of Hormuz on the Sea of Oman Zawya, making it one of the only Gulf benchmarks still flowing freely. Asia is paying a $70+ premium over US crude for the same commodity. That spread doesn't exist in normal markets. It exists when physical supply has genuinely broken down.
