Cathedral Prep

The spring sports season officially begins for Prep tonight. The Ramblers host Freeport in a boys varsity lacrosse tilt starting at 6pm at the Hagerty Family Events Center. Tickets will be on sale at the gate.

Alumni spanning from the 1960s through the Class of 2020 gathered for an evening of connection, conversation, and shared pride in Prep & Villa.

The RV Tour: Ramblers & Victors on the Road made a special stop in Tampa yesterday, bringing together members of the Cathedral Preparatory School and Villa Maria Academy alumni community.

Coach Keim: 'Claire worked hard to be an honor student, number one player on the golf team and a leader by example to her classmates and teammates. She is appreciated by her class and teammates as a steady friend and mentor and her positive attitude lifts those around her.'

'My commitment wouldn’t be possible without the many coaches I’ve had throughout each step of my career. Along with my parents constantly believing in me, Prep has showed me leadership skills, faith and discipline. I am looking forward to all that is to come at Walsh University.'

Congratulations to Prep senior Claire Williams. She will play golf at the next level at @WalshCavaliers on scholarship. Williams was a four-year starter for the Ramblers.

Congratulations to Cathedral Prep alumnus Dorian Crosby ’20. He defeated Nebraska-Kearney’s Crew Howard, 4-1, in sudden victory to capture the HWT title and become a National Champion! He also earned All-American status. Congratulations, Dorian, we are proud of you! #PrepPride 🤼

It feels just as good the next morning…

This marks the second time head coach Sonya Whitman has led the boys to a state title. It is also her fourth PIAA championship, counting the two she has won on the girls side.

The Ramblers won state gold by 51 points over Tunkhannock.

For the fourth time in school history, the Prep boys are the PIAA state champions.

Prep’s 400 Free Relay closes out the meet by finishing fourth.

Jack Raimy: four state medals this weekend and a state runner-up in the backstroke in a school-record time.

One event remaining, and the Ramblers are smelling a state title…

In the 100 Breaststroke, Prep’s Ben Camera finished 12th.

Prep’s Andrew Dutchcot placed 16th in the 100 Back.
