Congratulations to our Class of 2024 on earning over 1,500 College Credits while in High School! These credits were earned through their Dual Credit classes as they took College level classes as High School Students.

CoEd Cheer will hold a camp for ALL interested students from May 27-29. We will meet in the gym from 3:45-5:30 p.m.

In physics class, students are making human circuits and learning about electricity!

On Wednesday, Sophomore student, Nathan Santiago competed and won 1st place in the Special Olympics 400 meter race. Congratulations Nathan! Junior students, Daniel Castaneda, Braulio Martinez, and Janelly Vieyra-López also won awards at the Special Olympic Spring games today!

Special Olympics is ready for Spring games. Our Eagles will be competing in the Special Olympics three day track event at Dunbar Park. Go Eagles!

Congratulations Student Council! Hancock Student Council was an Honor Council at the 90th Illinois Association of Student Council State Conference on May 2-4 in Springfield, IL. Hancock was also awarded STAR council status for exemplary leadership in School Spirit and Teamwork!

Congratulations on our team's success at HSHacks 2024! Our team participated in the HSHacks 2024 hackathon, a competitive event where participants developed innovative tech solutions. Our team focused on creating the "Volunteer Website."

Poetry Club is hosting a writing workshop and Open Mic on Thursday, April 25th. The workshop will take place during AcLab in the Law Room (206) and the Open Mic/Coffee House after school in the Law Room (206) from 3:30 to 5. Come and share your creativity with others! 😊

Congratulations to the Hancock College Prep Mode United Nations IMPACT Team for their outstanding performance the MUNI XXVI, the 26th Annual Model United Nations at the University of Illinois Conference in Urbana-Champaign on April 5-7.
