Last week MHS hosted approx. 100 colleges, universities, trade schools & service academies at its annual College & Career Fair, co-sponsored by Project Graduation and MFEE. Students & families also attended breakout sessions on financial aid, taking a gap year & attending an HBCU

The Watchung Cares SATp Committee hosted a first responders meet & greet prior to outdoor movie night. Students had the chance to meet members of the Montclair PD, FD & Ambulance crew, climb aboard a fire truck, check out the back of an ambulance, explore a police car & learn CPR

MHS students, families and staff volunteered Saturday for the campus beautification initiative that began last spring tending to the successful, outdoor picnic bench student hub

Edgemont students were recently treated to a visit from the Montclair Ambulance Unit. Two EMTs arrived in their ambulance and talked to students about their jobs, how they work with other first responders in Montclair and other towns, and demonstrated some of the equipment.

Montclair Township’s Dept. of Health and Human Services recently provided Montclair Public Schools with Narcan cabinets for each building. These cabinets are mounted next to the AED machines and are accessible to all staff trained in Narcan administration. montclair.k12.nj.us/news/news_stor…
