@TMZ In Florida, willingness is not required. The Marchman Act allows a court to order assessment and treatment when legal criteria are met, even if someone is not ready to accept help. The individual does not need to be a Florida resident, only physically present in the state.

Actor Daniel Curtis-Lee has revealed he tried to help his former ‘Ned’s Declassified’ co-star by getting him a hotel for the night, but the room was turned upside down. “We got him into the hotel…I receive a call from management. They’re upset…the refrigerator is turned over.” Curtis-Lee has said Chase needs a 5150 which allows for the temporary, involuntary detention of an individual (up to 72 hours) in a psychiatric facility for evaluation. “I think that it is time to put in a call for a 5150.”
