President Trump's $1.776 billion settlement with the IRS is one of the single most corrupt acts in American history. They moved fast to avoid the scrutiny of the judicial process, and very likely violated the Constitution. This is an outrage.

The Trojan horse was a gift too. Air Force One never should have been gifted from another country. That raises serious corruption and national security concerns.

Four members of Congress who sit in committees that directly regulate Elon Musk’s SpaceX now have a family stake in the company’s stock now that the company went public. Yes, those are conflicts of interest. No, this should not be allowed. notus.org/money/congress…

Special Envoy for Peace and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, who played a key role in advising Trump's strikes on Iran, still needs to disclose and divest from his conflicting assets, like his firm receiving funding from a Saudi sovereign wealth fund.

Trump may be trying to wreak havoc on our elections, but it's not all going as planned: Just last month, courts dealt Trump five adverse election-related rulings. That includes a ruling in a CREW case which blocked DHS's illegal citizenship database. washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/…

A proposed rule would make it easier for the Trump administration to steer grants to groups it agrees with—and cancel grants that don't align with its ideological goals. This rule change should be withdrawn. nytimes.com/2026/07/16/us/…

Ethics rules are simple. Agency officials aren’t allowed to accept gifts from the companies they regulate. The FCC Inspector General needs to look into FCC officials apparently accepting expensive tickets from Paramount, amidst merger approvals. citizensforethics.org/legal-action/l…

For decades, presidents with stocks or businesses have placed them in blind trusts—until Trump. He reportedly promoted more than 20 companies within days of buying stock in them, sometimes while announcing government actions that could benefit them. cnn.com/2026/07/16/us/…

The DOJ is dropping charges against a crypto fraudster whose Ponzi scheme defrauded investors of $722 million. It's no surprise Trump's administration has been lax about criminal enforcement in the industry, given that he has a crypto empire of his own. news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/us…

Sixteen Trump-appointed EPA officials were paid more than $2.8M by the chemical industry before joining the agency that oversees the industry. How can we trust them to keep our communities safe from the harms of chemical pollution? citizensforethics.org/reports-invest…
