While challenges included limited resources & delayed trigger activation, lessons learned will strengthen future Anticipatory Action programming. CRS Uganda remains committed to building resilience in disaster-prone communities.

Key results: risk mapping in 40 villages, 135 local leaders trained on Anticipatory Action, Anticipatory Action integrated into District Contingency Plans, and cash support reaching 2,200+ vulnerable people.

CRS Uganda is proud to contribute to the growing evidence base for mosquito and malaria control in humanitarian contexts—especially through a market-based lens.

· 65.4% of retail outlets sell mosquito control products · Insecticidal incense sticks were the most common product (56.4%) · Followed by adult Insecticide Treated Nets (29.1%) . And non-insecticidal incense sticks (27.3%)
