Realizing I watched Caleb go from an extremely overhated rookie with awful coaching, to must-watch TV in Year 3. Time flies man.

@FarFarWestGame Been enjoying the game so far. If I have one gripe it's that I kind of feel like our characters view should be higher up vertically than it is now.

@DhruvKoul Love won the NFC North less times than Caleb, they have the same number of playoff wins People talk about trends and refuse to see the trend of mediocrity by Love while ignoring Caleb trending up. They wont admit they were wrong in saying Love in the same class as Favre and Rodg

Nate is one of the best in the business, but Top 8 is rich. Jordan Love is better than Bears fans want to admit, but he's closer to 15th than 5th. Very good tools, but I don't see Love as a problem solver independent of "LaFleur, scheme it plz." Sick moon balls, though.
Nate Tice@Nate_Tice

Jordan Love has been a locked-in top 10 (top 8?) QB for a couple of seasons now. Kind of foolish at this point to think otherwise. "Top shelf stuff" is that Love has one of the strongest arms in the league along with excellent size at the position, with pretty good athleticism, too. He also takes sacks at one of the lowest rates in the league, too.

@JinguUniversity This is why the White Sox should extend Murakami today. The White Sox owner is famously very cheap however.

The White Sox are gradually starting to be reported on in Japan as well. It's mostly about Murakami personally, but...

@QuestFor10Love @AgentBagent_17 Did you know that the Green Bay Packers have never won the NFC north with Jordan Love at QB and Matt LaFleur at HC? The Chicago Bears won the NFC North before they did. It's pretty funny.

@ChuckFBass Oh so now SAS is a sports journalist but you originally excused the same behavior in the tweet I originally responded to because "it's his job to be provocative". Interesting.

@CRend1 If you think that every single opinion that SAS has is proactive, I'm not sure we need to continue this. It's all been the same for 40 years. We just have more exposure to it now.

Dan Orlovsky perfectly represents where sports media went wrong. It's one thing to have Stephen A Smith or Skip Bayless whose job it is to be intentionally provocative. They represent the drunk guy in the urinal mumbling through vomit that we need to run the damn ball (and we do.) Dan is a former player with no cache featured every day on primetime intentionally spitting out takes that would make Herschel Walker blow his load. Literal Mickey Mouse clickbait bullshit. Bad faith sports torture porn that robs the viewer of an interesting perspective.

@ChuckFBass All those people you mentioned were sports journalists who could be provocative at times, they did not butter their bread solely by being provocative and engaging in the sort of "take economy" and "sports debate" like SAS, and that's what most of sports journalism is now.

Howard Cossell, Jim Rome, some would say PTI and Around the Horn (not me), Francesca & Russo, Colin Cowherd And that's just from me. I'm sure if you asked the entire sports community we could get together a list. The only difference is that ESPN created First Take. The style or opinions were nothing new. Just the platform.
