Gacha content makes a LOT less than non Gacha content for YT ad revenue.
Which is an interesting irony because there are more players per game due to accessibility of Gacha games (exceptions of course)

Update: a number of creators were curious about the “why” behind the pay so just sharing more info. The RPM of gacha content is anywhere from $1.40-$2.40 per 1k views. [21% US viewers] The RPM of my FF16 Playthrough is $8.75-9.50 per 1K views. (Screenshot below) This means I’m making 4-6 times the money per 1k views on FF16 vs my gacha content. Why? Because it’s majorly western viewers. [45%-50%US, 5% Canada looking at my geographical data] TLDR: The geographical viewership of the game you cover largely influences how high the rpm is on the content you upload. THE REAL TLDR: IF YOU WANNA BAGMAX JUST GO ALL IN ON GTA6 GUYS! WESTERNERS ARE LOCKING TF IN ON THAT ONE I ASSURE YOU 💀
