@Aaron_JamesZA @grantbn6 He should be in and around the Proteas. Developing in bilaterals and stuff. At some point, when it clicks for him, mentally, when he understands himself, then he is the guy for World Cups. It can be next year. It can be whenever. But it's not now.

@CSChiwanza @grantbn6 No man, you’ve got it wrong. Senokwane wasn’t pushed in young & didn’t fail. He got Proteas call‑up at 28 after years of strong domestic seasons. And yes, everyone’s path is different. I agreed with you on that! Now you jusr Aura farming. Let the kid play at the highest level

Maphaka isn't ready for this consistency wise. Please allow him to play domestic cricket outside the microscope of T20 internationals. 4-Day Competition has come and gone for him. 50-over comp remaining but won't be there for the start & domestic season is over in a flash now.

@Aaron_JamesZA @grantbn6 I don't know what aura farming is. I am not for that. Kwena can be a world beater. But right now he is not that guy. He needs to get a couple of things right. This is not a dig on him, because on every platform I speak of him as the future of SA cricket. He is not ready.

@Aaron_JamesZA @grantbn6 Black African player. We want players to put forward so much that we are blind to pitfalls. Have you followed Lesego Senokwane's career? He started early, but was playing the wrong role for the first five or so years. That's why his batting numbers don't look good.

@Aaron_JamesZA @grantbn6 A lot of BA players have the potential to play really important roles for the Proteas, but they are dunked in too soon. When they fail, they are forced to carry the blame. Yet it was because of decisions made by other people. Get him in a position of understanding himself first

@Aaron_JamesZA @grantbn6 No. That's not the way. He experiences high-level cricket a lot. He is not there yet. What you want is for someone like him to have 10+ years representing the Proteas. You don't do that by rushing guys. That's my gripe with how BA players are managed. Rushed.

@Aaron_JamesZA @grantbn6 What worked for KG isn't going to work for everyone. Each player has to have their own path. Kwena isn't where KG was mentally. He has the skill, but needs to develop the mindset side.

@grantbn6 But KG was developed this way and I think it helps him being on the international stage very early. It can only help him!
