The youth and the unemployed have been declared as cockroaches. The coaching institutes are alpha-mosquitoes! They will survive. They will evolve, adapt and thrive. And so will the influencers masquerading as teachers. They will become more robust and will exist in the cracks, in the gaps, in the swamps of collapsing education and in the ambitions of the young, the hopeful and the brave. They are anti-fragile. Unless, the lazy government, instead of reforming the failing education system, decides to ban coaching altogether in the name of reforms for a few votes more from those who demonise coaching. The beauty of being a cockroach or a mosquito is the evolutionary resilience. They have perfected the art of survival.

I am mortally scared about UPSC publishing prelims answers key. Knowing how pathetic some questions are and the disagreements that will be on air, I am sure somebody will go to the courts for stay on results. And that will be the beginning of the end. We have systematically destroyed a great institution. For a long long time it remained untouched by political parochialism. U can see many PYQs that were actually critical of govt policies. Not anymore. Slowly the credibility has been eroded. Not over night. But systematically over 20-25 years, and now accelerating. I remember appointment of DP Agarwal as a very controversial move. He was the biggest voice in upsc reforms. He was against coaching. But immediately after end of his tenure he became the face of a coaching institute. We see quite a few upsc members on interview panels. That’s a sad precedent of conflict of interests. India’s testing platforms and exams institutions are rogues. It’s actually criminal. Those in charge deserve conviction. I dread education reforms. For that matter, I dread any reforms now. Tbh, upsc shall make paper super easy Let people score 150-160. Keep the cutoff at 180, no issues But let the aspirants feel they are playing a fair game. What’s this game of asking random UN Peacekeeping years???

Post prelims frustration is real Every single active educator, mentor or just content creator is being abused on X Such things did not happen even in 2023, aspirants are really frustrated at the game. Rightfully so!

Every coaching owner posting videos in name of your parents is just communicating directly praying to not to shut their shops It’s not a pro aspirant rescue message but call to expand visibility on days when things look hard So that when it comes to buy, parents remember their face 😄

Tough exam would have still been okay Absurd exam isn’t! Commission seriously expects us to wind this up in 2 hours? Maybe 75-80 Qs, sure. All 100? 🤔
