Student Council Ambassadors and Class Representatives delivered donation items to Holiday House. They received a tour the camp and were able see how our contributions will make a difference for others.
Fifth grade students filled the Little Theater with enthusiasm as they shared their MakerSpace projects with each other and their families. They worked to create projects ranging from stop-motion films to origami and birdhouses to motorized boats and sewing projects.
What a fantastic tradition, cheering on our LHS alumni who will be graduating HS on Sunday! It was wonderful having them grace the halls of LHS one more time!
The fourth-grade classes painted positivity pebbles with messages of Hope that they will hide around Holiday House during a tour of their summer camp. What a great way to brighten someone’s day!
LHS 6th graders traveled to Broadway for a performance of ‘The Wiz’! Afterwards, they had the once in a lifetime opportunity to partake in a Q&A with the show’s director, Ms. Williams, and two of the show’s leads. We are so grateful to Ms. Williams for her time and insights!
Our Math Olympiads were at it again! This past Wednesday, 5 Math Olympiad representatives traveled to SUNY Old Westbury to compete in the Nassau County Math Tournament! These students showcased problem solving, perseverance, collaboration and Lloyd Harbor spirit!
LHS unveiled their Friendship Bench at a special ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday. A SIT initiative, the friendship bench will help promote inclusiveness and kindness among our students at recess. Special thanks to our cheerleaders, jazz band and student council officers!

Tuesday evening our Student Council officers gave their final presentation to the BOE before they move on to the Jr/Sr High next year. They shared heartfelt words about what their time as officers and their fondness for our school! There is much to celebrate at LHS!
The LH and WS 2nd graders had their patriotism on full display at our annual Symbols of America Performance! The students delighted the audience of family members with their impressive facts and beautiful singing. Congratulations to our students and their teachers!
