We partnered with @ajc and had@kennesawstate students report across metro ATL.They interviewed voters & the @ajc published their mini-stories special on an election day blog. Grace Salley interviewed 2 police officers in Alpharetta & Victoria Tucker spoke w/voters in Forsyth.

We hosted @kaitlynross1 and @ZachMerchantTV this week from @11AliveNews . They told our students the best way to start their prospective news careers especially those interested in TV news. Thank for visiting us!

October is keeping us busy. Investigative reporter and podcaster @afantz - Ashley Fantz - visited us at the Center to discuss story telling. The students asked great questions of her. Ashley's professional experience includes the Miami Herald and CNN.

Big thank you to @ajc's Mark Waligore and Nicole Williams for coming to our newsroom and mentoring our students. They will be writing Everyday Heroes profiles that will hopefully be selected for publication sometime in November or December.
