I'hv been building a cinematic screen recording app, for myself. Plan was to eventually sell it when its at a good stage in terms of features. But seeing what @webadderall has already done with his free & open-source app, Recordly, I feel it makes no sense for me to continue... Hats off!

I never used to believe in lucky dates, but today might have just changed my mind. Today is my birthday, and we just officially closed the largest enterprise deal. The timing is completely surreal. As the chart shows, it is only May 8th, and we have already doubled our entire revenue from April. Having personally tried a lot of different platforms out there, I can confidently say we have built the absolute best AI interviewer on the market. Seeing this massive spike is the best birthday gift I could ask for, and it proves that delivering this level of quality at just $0.99 per interview is exactly what the industry needed. Building a startup is a grind, but days like today make all the late nights worth it. Taking a quick moment to celebrate this win before we get back to building

fyi, this setup (with minor adjustments) will work equally well with a remote VPS or any other unix environment you may have at home

@CSSMonk Try the fast option too. And you may also try to optimise your local WiFi band (switch band not having interference).

That said, tmux is proving to be very painful sometimes. I don't like its default keyboard shortcuts. You cant copy with mouse! If you get copy to work, it works half the time. Any better alternative?

@yadvrx Started with in-built screensharing. It is very very slow for me, even on local wifi. Does dynamic high quality setting help in improving the lag?

@CSSMonk Have you tried the inbuilt screen sharing app? Works great over tailscale too. I use tmux but also screen sharing with dynamic high quality setting in full screen, then it’d feel like you’re on your Mac mini.
