My fab dog Daisy likes to make her own bed and then lie in it when we are at the office! A lesson to be learned by some of our clients maybe, when we family lawyers, can't undo some of the decisions they made during their relationship.

OTD in 1864, one of the oddest naval clashes of the 19th century took place between Danish and Austrian ships near Heligoland in the North Sea during the Second War of Schleswig Holstein. A Danish frigate from that battle ‘the Jylland’ is still preserved in Ebeltoft in Denmark.

Disraeli’s favourite flower (hence the Primrose League) but there are some plants that just seem very dated and 1970s to me. Something about those leaves that remind me of artless municipal flowerbeds.

I can hardly believe that 20 years ago today my "mad thing" became a reality & my little law firm went live!! Lots of ups & downs over the years but despite it all I am still doing the family law thing & feel privileged that I can. Huge thanks to those folk who have supported me.
