James A. Garfield National Historic Site
Women's suffrage advocate/leader Victoria Woodhull born in OH on 9/23/1838. In 1872 she became first woman to run for President of the United States as Equal Rights Party candidate. Her running mate was Frederick Douglass (later named D.C. Register of Deeds by Pres. Garfield).

NEWS: In accordance w/ CDC regulations, James A. Garfield NHS will begin phased re-opening of facilities next Wed., Jul. 1. Visitor center only (not Garfield home) will re-open & feature ranger-led virtual tours of Garfield home. VC to be open 10am-4pm Tues.-Sun., closed Monday.
