pooling college FB media is for all FBS schools and I agree with @wilnerhotline on this.
Regarding the PAC12/MWC merger, I don't think the dollars are far enough apart vs just merging that it justified the buyouts/poaching fees etc.

Just like anyone who thinks a merger between the PAC12 and MWC would have been more valuable to the new PAC12 teams. It's laughable.

@RonnieLuceroNM A league of the same schools plus 4 additional may be worth more in total, it is not worth more per school. Nowhere close, hence the reason certain schools were not invited. And the SOS suffers, reducing CFP eligibility, reducing overall annual value and long-term exposure.

If they are not valid then exit fees stand and will be negotiated down to the typical 60-66% of value. Likely $10-12MM per departing member. Sorry Rebel Girl 2.0

Judges are not going to like that the MW strong armed the teams to stay, that wanted to leave to a better conference in their eyes.

The MWC definitely used an antitrust expert attorney while writing the scheduling agreement to ensure it meets the standards for and ancillary exemption.

Gonna be really interesting once the MW 5 move over to the PAC12, if the overall stronger MBB conference that includes Gonzaga is enough to give some of those teams the benefit of the doubt in a way they haven't got it in the MWC.

Not only did SDSU not get in or New Mexico but where Utah St got seeded shows me there are so many on committee who must understand analytic numbers and predictives and don’t watch enough games. Clearly there are hard decisions but only one MW team this year is ridiculous

One of them being merger talks, which were written directly as required in the scheduling agreement. Have no doubt, MWC hired an antitrust attorney to help them write that.
