This is crucial in avoiding recent tragedies and preventing future building collapses.

It is essential for all relevant authorities responsible for issuing building permits, as well as the Standard Organization of Sierra Leone, to rigorously monitor construction activities and enforce the use of only standard building materials in our country.

It has been challenging for me to gather my thoughts following the tragic loss of lives in the collapse of the four-story building at Shell. My deepest condolences go out to the bereaved.
