Erich Vad lag in allen wesentlichen Einschätzungen zur Ukraine völlig falsch, und Roderich Kiesewetter legt hier absolut richtig den Finger in die Wunde. Und zwar so sehr, dass Vad durchdreht. Vad‘s Geschrei offenbart seine Schwäche, versucht mit lauter Angstmacherei seinen schwachen Standpunkt zu untermauern und scheitert abermals an der Realität: Das ukrainische Militär hat die strategische Initiative und baut diese stetig aus. Die Zerstörung der russischen Ölindustrie ist im vollen Gange und kann vom russischen Militär nicht entscheidend verhindert werden. Gleichzeitig wurde jeder russische Vormarsch gestoppt und teilweise sogar umgedreht. Die Russen kommen nicht weiter und verlieren mehr als sie nachführen können. Extrapoliert man diesen Verlauf, ist eine Niederlage Russlands unvermeidlich. Auch das haben Vad und seinesgleichen nicht kommen sehen. Die Menschen in der Ukraine werden keinen russischen Terror oder Einflussnahme tolerieren. Sie wollen in Frieden und in Freiheit leben. Dafür werden sie kämpfen, bis dieses Ziel erreicht ist. Nicht nur für deren Freiheit, sondern auch für unsere Freiheit.
