The Ticking World (from @brendonconnelly) was a fantastically written and engaging choose own adventure style story and The EXIT calendar was a really inventive escape room themed puzzle advent calendar. Can strongly recommend both and I hope we get another two next year.

We bought two advent calendars last year. Neither contained chocolate but both were absolutely fantastic. You can still buy both so I thought I'd recommend them now in case anyone wants to plan (very) ahead or maybe even just fancies doing them outside of Christmas.

‘All request radio’ is a bit of a strange idea in the modern world, isn’t it. I feel like there might be quicker ways to hear a song you want than sending an email to a radio station and waiting hopefully for four hours.

@lizzycampbell @Oog It was really good. Keep in mind that they don't last *that* long and they're quite big. I may have gone a little bit crazy, just for the two of us.

The plot is a more than a little formulaic and not particularly interesting but the action is frequently absolutely thrilling. Particularly the shanty town sequence, which is filled with inventive ideas.

Raging Fire was a pretty bittersweet watch. The last Benny Chan film and in many ways a film that feels like an old school HK action film struggling to exist in 2021. There's even a moment where Yen's character says to his team that maybe they should just get new jobs.

EP.12 of @sigmasports ‘The Café Ride’ is up! @pippa_york joins me on a ride around her old Glasgow training roads, ending up in a Café where Pippa talks about the inclusion of transgender athletes in sport and her own struggle to simply be accepted. 🌈 👉🏼 bit.ly/The-Cafe-Ride-…

@Seth_Cooke It’s certainly lighter - there are deliberate comedic moments - which I think helped distract me from the 'serious stuff', that I really don’t think works. And didn’t in the previous films.

Rewatched the first three Matrix films before watching Resurrections and whilst there were small parts I liked, they're still not films that I really enjoy or find interesting. Weirdly though, I did enjoy Resurrections. I'm not sure it's particularly good, but it's fun.
