HYTOPIA is introducing its new "NEO" SDK:

Today is one of the most important days for HYTOPIA: They will open-source their new tech stack soon, which could unlock new possibilities in AI gaming. I got early acceess to an demo version a couple days ago and the modular plug-in approach looks pretty promising. Once this is out, the community will be able to customize their stack to their likings and stack different plug-ins on top of each other to create advanced games fast. Co-Founder Temptranquil will drop an explanation video with a plug-in building example alongside this"SDK-NEO" release. HYTOPIA was able to scale to 500,000 MAU a few months ago. I expect this new SDK to spark a lot of innovation and wild experiments within the existing community and it should also attract a new type of audience because they can easily come in fork this open source repo to create and monetize advanced multiplayer games very fast. If this release flops, the project is definitely in a tough spot: The team capacity and runway is very limited - this has to get nailed or it's almost game over. This is the HYTOPIA endgame.
