Another busy week for the @DHSBoys Year 8 football team. Tonight was the second night of Central Venue league matches and they secured another two wins beating St Boniface and Stoke Damerel to remain unbeaten - well done everyone! ⚽️

Well done to @DHSBoys Year 8 football team who had a good win against Lipson tonight in the Devon Cup. The team will travel to Uffculme in the next round after half term. Well done to all involved ⚽️

The Plymouth Schools Year 8 Central Venue football league started last night here @DHSBoys with the ‘A’ team starting off strong with two wins against Eggbuckland ‘A’ and our ‘B’ team - well done to all the students involved ⚽️

Well done to @DHSBoys Year 8 football team who beat Tor Bridge in the first round of the Devon Cup this afternoon with an encouraging 2-0 win. The team play Lipson in the next round next week ⚽️

The Y7 and 8 Indoor Cricket teams took part in the @DevonCricket Plymouth Schools competition last week. Well done to the Y8 team who won and have qualified for the County Finals and equally well done to the Y7 team who came 3rd and gained valuable experience for next year 🏏

Great way to end another busy day - @DHSBoys PE staff taking part in a Subject Mastery CPD session on Flag Football led by @alicarps Watch this space as we look to introduce it to the PE curriculum for students soon… 🏈

An interesting day at the U15 West Devon Schools Indoor Cricket competition today - our @DHSBoys ‘A’ team came 3rd and the ‘B’ team came 2nd and were very close to winning the final and qualifying for the County Finals but just came up short against a strong Ivybridge team 🏏

Great game tonight for the Y8 B team footballers vs Sir John Hunt. From being 6-1 down at HT, the team showed unbelievable fight to bring it back to 6-5 but couldn’t quite complete the comeback in a thriller of a game! ⚽️ @DHSBoys @DHSBenrichment

Congratulations to @DHSBoys Year 8 football team who beat Heles 3-2 in the Plymouth Cup today. It was an other tight game with both teams taking and losing the lead - credit to both teams for a great game and thankfully no penalties again for us! ⚽️🏆

@DHSBoys Year 8 football team lost 4-3 on penalties in the @SchoolsFootball National Cup 5th round this evening against Ivybridge. A brilliant game of football from two excellent teams - credit to all the players from both schools ⚽️

An excellent win tonight for @DHSBoys Year 8 football team in the @SchoolsFootball National Cup 4th round away at Exmouth. The score line see-sawed between the two teams but we managed to win it 3-2 in extra-time with a great goal from Noah D. A brilliant game from both teams! ⚽️
