At the ongoing @thePDFestival, our ED @BancyKubutha participated in a side event convened by @UraiaTrust titled: The Uchaguzi Conversation: Power, Participation & the Road to 2027. The session brought together key electoral stakeholders to assess preparedness for the next GE 1/2

The forum also seeks to promote closer working relationships among electoral stakeholders and encourages joint efforts and shared responsibility to strengthen electoral preparedness throughout the electoral cycle. This has been made possible with support from @UraiaTrust

Currently underway in Nakuru County is the Election Stakeholders Engagement Forum bringing together state and non-state actors to share timely updates on ongoing electoral activities and assess the county’s electoral environment and emerging issues.

The Assembly provided an inclusive platform for citizens to align their priorities and advance a shared County Citizens’ Manifesto that strengthens accountability, promotes responsive governance and reinforces issue-based governance.

With support from @UraiaTrust , we convened the County-level People’s Assembly bringing together citizens from constituencies across Nakuru County. The forum marked the culmination of sub-county People’s Assemblies and served to validate and consolidate citizen manifestos.

The County People’s Assembly Forum is underway in Nakuru town. Supported by @UraiaTrust, the forum seeks to provide a structured platform for citizens to articulate their development priorities & co-create citizen manifestos that strengthen issue based and accountable governance.

Supported by @UraiaTrust the County People Assemblies Forums provide structured spaces where citizens develop Citizen Manifestos, articulate service delivery issues and connect community priorities to political and governance decision-making processes.

Whose priorities should guide how people are governed? Is it citizens’ lived experiences or political interests? Residents of Molo had the opportunity to reflect on this pertinent question during the County People Assemblies forum

CTL-Kenya with support from @UraiaTrust continues to deliver civic and voter education that equips citizens to demand better services, elect accountable and responsive leaders. 3/3

On her part, she underscored the importance of building public trust through community-led voter education, leveraging youth networks to promote civic responsibility and advancing inclusive outreach strategies to curb misinformation and strengthen accountability. 2/3

Yesterday, our ED, @BancyKubutha participated in an @IEBCKenya workshop on developing Voter Education, Partnerships and Communications Performance Targets and Public Outreach Strategies for FY 2025/26/27. 1/3

Engaged the Nakuru CSO Network in a strategic dialogue aimed at strengthening advocacy approaches ahead of the 2027 General Elections. The session focused on positioning these organisations at the forefront of policy reform efforts. This was possible through Uraia and Elgia.
