The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences implemented a new set rules that would automatically disqualify any movie--domestic or international--from Best Picture category if it doesn't implement "inclusion standards."
This especially affects Japanese and South Korean productions.
•Standard A (On-Screen Representation): A lead or significant supporting actor is from an underrepresented group (Black, Hispanic, etc.), or at least 30% of the ensemble cast is from underrepresented groups (women, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, or underrepresented ethnic groups).
•Standard B (Creative Team): Key creative leadership or crew positions (directors, cinematographers, etc.) are filled by underrepresented groups.
•Standard C (Industry Access): The production company offers paid internships/apprenticeships to underrepresented groups.
•Standard D (Marketing): The film has diverse marketing, publicity, or distribution teams.

This and I am an Army guy. There are too many conflicts where the A-10 fits the bill perfectly as air superiority and dominance is achievable.

For those of you not familiar.
The A-10 Warthog is the ugliest, most absurdly beautiful killing machine to ever take flight. A flying chunk of titanium molded around a gatlin gun style cannon; the equally absurd 30mm GAU-8.
It commands the adoration of troops on the ground as the sound of its unmistakable mating call the “brrrrrrp” overhead means several enemy fighters have been neutralized.
It flies low and slow delivering death more intimately than any other fighter jet could fathom.
Cloaked in armor, it’s rumored to be able to take damage to 70% of its airframe and still land with ease. It doesn’t need a long or even paved runway.
The uppity nerds running the Air Force have decided to “phase them out” this year… yet here they are continuing to “get some”.
I personally think that @USMC should take the them over… they fit perfectly in our “take old shit and make it great” culture.

Instead of figuring out where all that money is going (fraud), the leaders are demanding that those who actually work pay even more in taxes.
You cannot make this stuff up. You don't have to be an R, D, or I to not like fraud. Fraud is a crime and it is a theft from everyone so perhaps the only answer to these demands to raise taxes should be to clean up the fraud first?
