Amazing to hear from Dr Hamsaraj Shetty @WelshStrokeConf about how far stroke has come in Wales. From no stroke units, an average of a 5 year hospital stay (!!) for stroke patients and mortality rate of 28%, to where we are now. Still work to do of course, but good to reflect
