'Doris' had a sudden onset of slurred speech, right sided facial droop and right sided weakness. @CUH_NHS junior sister Natasha, staff nurse Shahzaib and @AngliaRuskin student Ann Maria carried out an ABCDE assessment. This included a FAST assessment.

#HelloMyNameIs Vicky and I am a Resus Officer. I have been an #EastEnglandAmb paramedic for 7 years and in my new role @CUH_NHS as well as working clinically, I will be visiting clinical areas and monitoring compliance with mandatory training and #mykitcheck compliance.

Margaret from @CUH_Resus, visited Samar Provincial Hospital on behalf of @CambGHP. She facilitated training to 34 members of staff in the ED including BLS, defib, A-E and airway management. Margaret also donated an emergency transfer bag on behalf of @CUH_NHS and @CambGHP. #Kind

We have recently registered our Automated External Defibrillators (AED) with @TheBHF on #TheCircuit This ensures, that in the event of a cardiac arrest our local community have 24/7 access to an AED - provided by @CUH_NHS defibfinder.uk
