Greetings to our friends in Teso. Today marks our first mobile clinic in the region, and we are excited to meet the patients and caregivers here. Parents and caregivers of children living with neurological conditions are encouraged to bring them for assessment and consultation.

In the ICU, mothers are guided on how to access and feed their children, so they remain active participants in recovery. This is how we serve. Surgery, nursing care, and spiritual ministry working side by side daily to treat the child and support every family entrusted to us.

At CURE Uganda, care begins long before the first incision. Families are prayed with before surgery, not as a formality, but because we believe God is present in every step. Children are prepared carefully and respectfully, with close attention to their comfort and safety.

Before any surgery happens, there’s a quiet moment like this. A doctor sits with a parent, explains what’s ahead, answers questions, and takes the time to make sure everything is understood. At CURE Children’s Hospital of Uganda, we don’t rush that moment. Trust matters.

Today, we are in Lira, at Adina Foundation, assessing children with neurological conditions, supporting caregivers with clear medical guidance, and identifying those who may need further treatment or surgery at CURE Uganda. Please help us share this information.

At times the hardest part isn’t the surgery, but the moment a child is taken from their mother’s arms. Before anything clinical begins, our OR team slows down, comforting, and staying close until fear settles. At CURE, every child is met with patience, calm, and care first.

We are always Present : Annual Brain Surgery Run – A Success! Today, Cure Hospital successfully held its annual Brain Surgery Run, an event dedicated to supporting children with disabilities caused by Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida. This run is made possible through generous donations and community support. The event was well-attended, and participants took part by running or walking for the cause. Uganda Red Cross Society and Cure hospital staff were on standby throughout, offering first aid services to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. We are proud to highlight the involvement of our very own Mrs. Angellina Waphabulo, a Uganda Red Cross Member of the Integrity and compliance Committee, who also doubles a Good Will Amabssadoe.
