It is ridiculous that St. John’s just gets home games and home whistles for the big east tournament. Really puts into perspective how dog shit they were before Pitino.

Wild Creighton has made it to the championship almost half of the years. Heartbreaking that they have no hardware to show for those trips.

The winless streak in the Big East Tournament for the league's three newest members (Creighton, Xavier & Butler) will extend to 12 seasons. Since the new iteration of the BE in 2014, the league's old guard has won every Big East Tournament crown. BE Tournament Titles since the league reformation: Villanova - 5 Georgetown - 1 Marquette - 1 Providence - 1 Seton Hall - 1 St. John's - 1 UConn - 1 Over that span, Creighton is 0-5 in Big East title games and Xavier is 0-2. Butler has never advanced to the championship.
