Staines Res this am: increase in duck numbers with 300+ of Pochard and Tufted Duck, 20 goldeneye. 9 B N Grebe, 4 shelduck, water pipit. Pochard flock again in sw corner of S basin into sun therefore could not see if lesser scaup still present. @CVBirding

An afternoon visit to Woodoaks Farm where I bumped into @LeeEvansBirding produced 3 Whinchat & 2 Stonechat on the fence line below the tea shack (well spotted Lee regarding the Stonechats) plus 2 very mobile Clouded Yellow Butterflies. @Hertsbirds
