@MattWeaverRA I would hope so. That was a terrible effort. Everyone makes fun of Kyle Petty but he WON his first ever Speedway race in ARCA when it was a competitive series.
Cleetus McFarland says he accomplished his primary goal on Saturday at Rockingham; Richard Childress Racing's Danny Lawrence suspects NASCAR will want to see more before granting a superspeedway license

@StartAndParkCar Squirrel George was three (3) laps behind the leader, not 3 seconds or 3 car lengths but 3 laps and never competitive. Cleetus was .7 seconds behind the leader at the end. He lost that much in 9 laps. Neither one has any business at Kansas or Talladega. But I guess they will be.
Great finish for both Cleetus and Squirrel, 4th and 9th
For Squirrel, only 1 minor spin, should be granted his approval for Kansas with today's run
We will likely be getting Talladega Nights again at Kansas in a few weeks
No question, Cleetus McFarland is great for the sport of #NASCAR, but having 5M YouTube subs shouldn't give you a pass to the highest levels of American motorsports.
It's clear that, after Saturday, McFarland needs more seat time before racing in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
Cleetus didn’t kill the car or anyone’s race. That’s a success in my eyes, bet he learned a lot. People are entitled to their opinions but if you disagree you’re a moron.
@DirtyMoMedia A disaster that was easily predictable. Everyone seems to have forgotten the terrible effort he had at Bristol last year. Skills set is weak.
P32.
A handful of spins.
BUT, he kept the ol’ Chevy clean 👌🏻

Well, ol’ Cleetus didn’t tear up the car, and finished the race, which is good.
However, today proved what anyone knowledgeable has said - he has no business being in this series.
Also, contrary to popular belief, I don’t hate him at all. Just having fun w/ the triggered folks.
P32 -6 laps for #33 Cleetus McFarland
Did a great job on that last run limping on old AF tires
5 Spins, 4 amazing saves, and the car is pretty much clean, proved a lot of the haters wrong today
Gotta say I'm proud of him,
@Noah_Lewis1@LandonHuffman Happy about being 3 laps down? Kinda sad. But you have to figure in 36% of the starters were 20 MPH slower than the leaders.
@JeffFavignano@JamesDaWerewolf He has less than 5 starts. No offense but that's not much of a background. Oh, Crown Vic, School Bus's, Stock Altima Demo Derby races don't count.
@bobpockrass@NASCARONFOX Cleetus will never take the time & extend the effort to be top level. He makes too much money through his current operations and with only 24 hrs in a day? This is a phase.
When Cleetus McFarland was talking to media earlier this week, he talked about what surprised him about the data the teams have and the preparation NASCAR drivers do for races. @NASCARONFOX
@Yannis_Bek@controversy_v4s@DirtyMoMedia I assume you are talking about Tommy's son? He was driving another teams car that experienced master cylinder failure & had NO brakes. Only doofus is you dude.
@controversy_v4s@DirtyMoMedia They talk more shit about cleetus' camera guy than they did the doofus who only made it 31 laps and finished last in the O'Reilly race Saturday.
@controversy_v4s@DirtyMoMedia Some absolutely amazing responses to a comment they made. LS George, Squirrel McNutt, is, and everyone knows just Cleetus's errand boy. He was terrible in the Hickory race, finished 7 Laps behind the leader, not 7 seconds or 7 lengths but the leader passed him 7 times.
