Phenomenal week! Also finished 7th in Nis with a Pole and led 163 of 437 laps across all races. First time @jaw2131 and I have finished 1-2 in an official and we did it twice as well as a 1-3 finish. What a team! Super blessed.

From now on I'm reporting every driver that does this. 3 races I've lost this exact same way today. drivers have no respect for their competition. they'd much rather drive through the leader to win than race clean and have a respectable finish. Get ready for some reports @iRacing

Based on comments I have to admit I have been enlightened. Who cares about track conditions, aero package, tire wear. The fact Atlanta is called a superspeedway means under no circumstances is the pushing car liable for wrecking the leader. So no reporting, lets go wreck for a W!

@jonathanoatess @iRacing I guess we’ll see what happens. It takes no skill to wreck someone like that, but if iRacing deems that acceptable I guess I’ll just start doing that from now on, no more protests will be needed and we’ll just kick racecraft to the side. Appreciate the civil dialogue

@CWorkman388 @iRacing yes lol i've raced at atlanta on iracing plenty of times otherwise i wouldn't have said anything People push in the corners. It's dumb, but if it works it's fast. Not a very balanced risk/reward system but the iRacing sporting code doesn't prohibit it.

@jonathanoatess @iRacing Superspeedways like Daytona/Talladega, yes I would agree with you about bumping in the corners. However this is Atlanta. Very unique track, if you try racing on it like the other two tracks after over 15 laps on tires, you are going to wreck yourself and others

@CWorkman388 @iRacing there has unfortunately been a "permission structure" for bump drafting in the corners on iRacing for years now. superspeedways just race like that, and that protest is almost certainly not going anywhere the guy that hit you after the wreck? that deserves a protest

@jonathanoatess @iRacing In the 5 years I’ve been on the service, I’ve maybe filed 4-5 reports. One time issue is one thing, but when it happens multiple times in one day and nothing happens it creates a permission structure for it. Don’t believe me? Here’s another one; and the 26 retaliates too, got 4x

@BigOrangeRicky @iRacing Based on your response you haven't driven a lap here yet. track is slick, you can pack air on a dude's spoiler to get him lose but also finish him off. Every driver knows this. load into a session and race if you don't believe me
