@C_AnnBeghe i can tell you that my mom had such issues that i always wished and/or pretended i was adopted. i pretended i'm an alien for a while and then at 13 i saw nightmare on Elm street 6 and started pretending i'm Freddy's daughter.

So, I sat there at the age of 17 (with my now ex, my kids’ father) and went back and forth about this decision. I came to the conclusion that, if it’s meant to happen with my father, it would. With my birth mother, it was a hardcore no. This is something that has pretty much impacted my whole teenage years into adulthood. Then, in 2023, I pretty much gave up. I said, ‘I guess it’s not happening. I give up, whatever kind of situation,’ and dropped it and focused on me. When I was 17, I didn’t know. But when my first child was born, I thought about it all the way up to when my third child was born. At that point, I pretty much decided that I was going to leave it up to fate or destiny. Because now, with me having three children, I would have to explain the whole situation of why their grandparents are not in their lives, and it was best just not to open that can of worms. Instead of overthinking and balling my eyes out each day, I would let destiny hold the answer.

@UK_fetish Another thing is none of us have the same father. So, my dad, I’m the only child out of the three of us that is his child. Kinda reminds me of an episode of ‘Teen mom’ honestly.

@UK_fetish Yes, my brother and my sister. My brother is 2 years older than me, my sister 2 years younger. I’m the middle of the 3. My sister is shy and doesn’t like to txt or call much. But, I met her when I was 13. My brother is older and we have a good relationship.

Continued…. How it all started with CPS was she left me and my brother in the house while she went to the store to get alcohol, and her neighbor across the hall called CPS. That’s how it all started. I’m sorry, but if your addiction is that bad, get help. Now, most of this isn’t in the records themselves; through caseworkers and my sister’s family it was revealed. Remind you, when I talk about this, each person’s situation is different. I am not judging anybody else and how they live, but I am judging the person who is supposed to be my mother and protect and take care of me for her actions. So before somebody ever comes at me about what I’m saying, I’m not talking about your situation or somebody else’s situation; I’m talking about my situation. You know?

What happened was once CPS was involved, they never left until my sister was adopted. She was involved with CPS from 1983 all the way until 1989. Her habits were so bad she wouldn’t go to OB appointments, eat properly, or do anything with my brother and sister, but they made her with me (that took a lot of court sessions to get that legal right to make her). So, with each kid, they removed them from her care until 1990. What made this decision so easy for me was that it wasn’t, ‘Oh, I don’t have money for food, don’t have a job’ situation. It was, ‘I want to feel drunk and high instead of being a mother.’ Also, her mom tried to force her to abort me. She refused. So, you refuse to put up for adoption, sign custody over, but continue your selfish behavior and ways instead. Then, she kept having babies after. The courts tried to get her to have court‑mandatory tubal ligation, but lost. It’s not easy, but when the facts are this, it made it easy for me. The courts sealed my documents, made it hard or impossible to find me. When contact with my birth mom was made by my sister’s family, they were instructed not to talk about me or even answer any of her questions regarding me. I wanted my whereabouts to be unknown to her. So, when I say my reason is justified, it is. If the situation was different, I would’ve been open to meeting and hearing her out.b But that being said: Case closed now. Sealed. Stamped. Final.

Yeah, I decided a long time ago that I wasn’t going to have any contact with her. Apparently, my sister’s adoptive mom was still in contact with her up until recently, so I would get updates about what she was up to , but I shut that down. I have my reasons. I even shared online why her ongoing behavior with drugs and alcohol. Now that I’m a mom , that isn’t the type of environment I want my kids (soon to be 20, soon to be 18, and soon to be 16 year old’s) to be around or associated with. She chose that life rather than be a mother. That’s on her heart, not mine. But… You’re welcome. It was very nice chatting with you. 🫶
