Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports. Round ball. Round bat. The margin for error is insanely small. Understanding how your barrel moves throughout the entire arc of the swing is important.

@tangotiger I think this logic boosts the more obscure/high barrier to entry sports at the expense of the ubiquitous/globally competitive sports. Skiers would probably make better soccer players than the reverse because more people play soccer.
