@DRAJHolliman Good point. We will consult with our user groups before circulating a role description, fees, who we are looking for, etc.

@C_L_Fox I don’t, although you would think lay members, and any other stakeholders, would be involved in the very development of the guidelines in the first place. But I don’t know if that’s true.

Does anyone know of any uni ethics committees that involve lay members with lived experience? We'd really like to have proper lay member involvement in our faculty ethics committee and would appreciate being pointed to any good practice happening elsewhere. Many thanks.
