A social network where humans aren’t allowed to post is now live, and it’s raising some serious security questions. I shared my thoughts on Moltbook and Moltbots today on iHeartRadio’s KFBK Morning News. Moltbook, which is described as “Reddit for AI bots,” is a social media network that allows autonomous AI agents to post, interact, and learn from each other with zero human intervention. In fact, humans aren’t allowed. That shift, from AI as a tool (like Chat) to AI as a network, is why cybersecurity leaders like Palo Alto Networks, along with researchers at MIT and NIST, are sounding the alarm. As I shared with the anchors, when AI agents have direct access to user data, systems, and credentials, and are learning from unverified sources, the attack surface expands…fast. I think the takeaway from Palo Alto Networks is clear: If AI is going to act independently, security and governance have got to be built in from the start, not bolted on later. iheart.com/podcast/1248-k… @iHeartRadio @kfbk @markdemsky @C_Mendonsa @aoswal1234 @PaloAltoNtwks #iheartradio #KFBK #KFBKMorningNews #NewsRadio #TechNews #Moltbook #Moltbot #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #Cybersecurity #AIAgents #AIGovernance #EnterpriseSecurity

A tech-infused chef’s knife that vibrates 50,000 times per second? Yes, really. I joined iHeartRadio’s KFBK Morning News to share Seattle’s latest tech innovation: an ultrasonic kitchen knife designed to glide through food using high-frequency vibrations. It started as a passion project to overcome tendon injuries, and now it’s one of the most promising kitchen tools I’ve seen. Cuts require up to 50% less force, food doesn’t stick to the blade, and the precision is so sharp that chefs say it feels like the knife “melts” through ingredients. This may be the biggest leap in kitchen technology since the electric mixer, and a fascinating example of how assistive tech can make everyday tasks easier, safer, and more accessible. Did you hear that authorities investigating the Palisades fire suspect are looking at his ChatGPT searches? But how much access can law enforcement actually get from AI systems? On-air at iHeartRadio’s KFBK Morning News,I broke down why no U.S. law yet specifically governs AI data in criminal cases, what the Fourth Amendment and Carpenter v. United States mean for digital privacy, and how California’s new AI rules and the EU’s AI Act are shaping the future of AI regulation. The bottom line: It’s still a legal gray zone, and every new case will help define how AI data fits into privacy law.
