I've been experimenting with 'Trend-Based Fibonacci Time' on the Bitcoin chart. After testing every completed market cycle, I found a pattern, the following cycle top consistently falls within the 2.618 Fibonacci (charts below).

Bollinger Bands: Price is holding the lower Bollinger Band - downside momentum is stabilising. MACD: The weekly MACD is bearish below zero. The histogram is beginning to lose bearish momentum. However, MACD is still showing a bearish trend. RSI: The weekly RSI remains in oversold territory. The sharp drop shows that we experienced heavy selling pressure. An oversold RSI condition can create short-term bounces. Invalidation: My bearish thesis would need to be reviewed if Bitcoin reclaims the Bear Market Resistance Band on a weekly closing basis and successfully turns it into support. Thread Weekly Timeframe TA: Bear Market Resistance Band (red/green cloud): Despite holding the 200-week SMA, Bitcoin has closed below the Bear Market Resistance Band. The Bear Market Resistance Band will act as resistance, and the 200-week SMA will act as support. One of these indicators will need to give. Any upside moves are likely to be relief rallies until the Resistance Band is broken. 200W SMA (blue line): Bitcoin has closed another week holding the 200-week SMA (blue line) as support. Historically, this has been one of the most important long-term support levels during bear markets.
