The people who talk about this series just didn’t watch it. They were guarding Shaq like he was still prime Lakers Shaq. Wade should’ve avg 45-50 in this series and swept the Mavs if he had deviated from the game plan earlier.

The Celtics have this exact mold and Mitchell reads the game way better than Brown. The Cavs should’ve just punted on this season and did whatever it took to get Bron to sign on for 1 or 2 years while flipping Garland for perimeter defensive depth/shooting.

funniest thing is that CS is right. SG's being used as PG's(on ball guards that can't pass) merge best with other on ball players that can't pass. It allows you to fill the rest of the lineup w players of the same mold(not really play finishers but connectors and ball movers)

Mitchell doesn’t need another playmaking guard. He needs an off ball defensive guard and a big playmaking wing.
Trading Garland for an older version of the same archetype made no sense.

Donovan Mitchell has had a phenomenal season, but some of these recent games have been brutal from a process standpoint I think the Harden/Mitchell backcourt is officially feeling some growing pains
