The opposite goes for Bangaranga, it was around 15th the whole season and only went up to 4th because it won...

@marrgarethX Exactly. I personally found Regarde grating but appreciate Monroe's skill & technique, which the jury also did. But there is no jury appraisal of the technique involved in singing "Kraj mene", it's just dismissed as "screaming" 😣

i'm pretty sure that most other artists this year (however talented they are) wouldn't be able to sing the end of "Kraj mene" without completely destroying their vocal cords for a week. but Luka could probably sing the other songs without much issue

i think some of those results are accidental. if you're ranking 25 songs in limited time, you probably won't be too particular about entries you put below ~13, because they won't get your points anyway... but them tanking Serbia looks very deliberate. which is actually insulting

@verityrf Juries need to be more diverse in terms of musical background. You might not personally like metal and unclean vocals but the skill should still be marked appropriately. Why does Monroe get points for technique but Luka Lavina doesn't? His scream was equivalent of a "jury note".

Just unhinged. Serbia, Croatia, Malta, Moldova and Czechia being tanked by so many jurors…
It is so obvious that there’s no objective criteria by which jurors are supposed to rank. Yes we got a good winner this year, but the jury is still as sketchy as always.

job market is a joke right now. Driving Lessons are more expensive than ever, and even if you pass the insurance costs are an even bigger joke. Public transport isn’t the best. The blame isn’t on the young people for this one. There’s virtually no local jobs and they can’t afford to travel for further away jobs.
