If the team is not going to call up Bazzana anytime soon (which I feel they won't) one in house fix would be to give Schneemann some more time at short which would also free up more opportunities for Martinez in the outfield.

@Jeremyinakron17 Totally understand that thought process. I think Deshaun is shot mentally and physically. Even if he succeeded enough to get us to 8-9 territory that puts you in a terrible spot because he’s on an expiring and this QB class is loaded.

Perfect scenario if Tate is gone at 6 and you feel comfortable that Freeling makes it to 12. Cowboys trade us 12 and 20 for 6 and 39. We trade 24 for 33 and a 2027 pick for Jets to take a QB.

@BenjaminSolak Do you have any data backing up that Stefanski/ Rees are good at this? Tape doesn’t lend itself to that opinion but Browns offense was also extremely lacking talent.

Makes sense. Stefanski/Rees are really good at creating YAC opportunities in the short game. Tua’s accuracy and quick distribution would be attractive to them. Also: two lefties throwing in camp! Ball stays spinning the same way between Tua and Penix.
